The Explosive
Belt.

A belt-worn sensor that measures jump height, takeoff direction and bar velocity, records every jump of a match on its own, and a free app that turns the numbers into a training record. Built and tested in Sofia, on real athletes, against a slow-motion camera. Small batch, hand-assembled.

    Jump height comes from flight time, checked against slow-motion video. Bar velocity is read straight from the sensor strapped to the bar.

    Records without a phone
    Wear it in a practice or a game. The belt detects each jump and keeps the last 64 on board. Connect afterwards and import them with one tap.
  • BLE
    Bluetooth to your phone
    Live numbers on iPhone, iPad or Android while you test or lift. No hub, no Wi-Fi setup.
  • 20–25 h
    Streaming per charge
    Charges over USB. Charge it before a session; if it sits unused for a couple of weeks, plug it in first.

The app is free on the App Store and Google Play, with no subscription. Jump testing, bar velocity, Olympic lifts, teams, programs and cloud sync between coach and athlete are all included.

Pay by card through Stripe, or send the form below and I reply with bank details. Five belts are in this batch; when they are gone the form puts you on the list for the next one.

Install the app

Download Explosive Athlete from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account if you want cloud sync with your coach or athletes; otherwise it works fully offline.

Charge, strap, jump

Charge the belt, switch it on, connect in the app, stand still, jump. The quick-start card covers it in a minute. Questions come straight to me.
